Grazas \u00e1 obra de ampliaci\u00f3n, a Asociaci\u00f3n Internacional de Pontes e Enxe\u00f1ar\u00eda Estructural (IABSE, nas s\u00faas siglas en ingl\u00e9s), outorgoulle esta distinci\u00f3n, que a coloca como finalista dos premios \u00e1 Mellor Estructura (Outstanding Structure Award ou OSTRA polas s\u00faas siglas en ingl\u00e9s), superando \u00e1 ponte de Mukogawa (Hyogo, Xap\u00f3n), e tan s\u00f3 por detr\u00e1s da ponte Mersey Gateway (Liverpool, Reino Unido).<\/p>\n<p>O premio OSTRA 2019 s\u00famase ao Premio ITS 2019, outorgado \u00e1 ampliaci\u00f3n de Rande en abril deste mesmo ano, que reco\u00f1eceu a coordinaci\u00f3n e o sistema implantado, que permitiu manter os niveis de tr\u00e1fico durante a obra.<\/p>\n<p>Os premios IABSE e OSTRA \u00e1 Mellor Estructura reco\u00f1ecen dende 1998 obras a nivel mundial, destacadas pola s\u00faa singularidade, innovaci\u00f3n, creatividade, sostibilidade e respecto ao medio ambiente.
